Please note: a GPS smartwatch is mainly for outdoor use; you do not need to track your children indoors.
Important information about GPS location: Our GPS smartwatches work best when your child is outdoors . This is because GPS signals are strongest in open spaces.
Why is the location sometimes less accurate indoors? Indoors, walls and insulation can block the GPS signal. In that case, the smartwatch automatically switches to Wi-Fi and LBS (cell tower-based) location tracking . This still shows you a location, but it may be less precise.
At the bottom of the app you can see which method was used to determine the location.
How does GPS work outdoors? As soon as your child is outside and the smartwatch has an active internet connection, it automatically switches back to GPS. This provides a very accurate location .
