How does location determination (indoor vs. outdoor) work?

Outdoors = Most Accurate: GPS signals work best outdoors. As soon as the watch is outdoors with a working data connection, it automatically switches back to GPS for a precise location.

Indoors = less accurate: Walls/insulation weaken GPS. The watch then uses Wi-Fi location or LBS (cell towers) as a backup. Useful for pinpointing a location, but less accurate. The app shows which method was used.
Tip: Make sure there's enough data on your SIM card; without enough data, the watch may switch to LBS, and the location will be less accurate.
