Belangrijke informatie over GPS-locatieOnze GPS-smartwatches werken het beste wanneer uw kind buiten is. Dit komt doordat GPS-signalen het sterkst zijn in open ruimtes.
Waarom is de locatie soms minder nauwkeurig binnenshuis?Binnen kunnen muren en isolatie het GPS-signaal blokkeren. In dat geval schakelt de smartwatch automatisch over naar WiFi- en LBS-locatiebepaling (op basis van zendmasten). Dit zorgt ervoor dat u nog steeds een locatie ziet, maar deze kan minder precies zijn.
In de app kunt u onderaan zien welke methode gebruikt is om de locatie te bepalen.
Hoe werkt GPS buiten?Zodra uw kind buiten is en de smartwatch een actieve internetverbinding heeft, schakelt deze automatisch terug naar GPS. Dit geeft een zeer nauwkeurige locatie.
